About Me

Hi! I'm Schyler (Dené) Hoard, an aspiring strategy professional and creative dedicated to creating colorful, human-centric, and efficient experiences.

I recently completed my Bachelors of Arts from New York University (NYU), where I majored in Integrated Media Communications and Psychology at the Gallatin School of Individualized Study. I completed a minor in Digital Art and Design from the Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development. My degree was individualized, meaning that I had a lot of liberty to be highly strategic and intentional in self-curating my education. This website serves to enrich my brand by showcasing the skills, work, and opportunities I have acquired and participated in thus far.

My curriculum centered on psychology, media and cultural studies, marketing, and design courses. I enriched my academics with an abundance of leadership and innovative opportunities, alongside corporate internships in finance.

My professional attitude is people-focused and efficiency-driven. I love to solve problems with attentive, strategic, and bespoke solutions that provide both remedy and meaningful enjoyment. My preferred mediums for doing this are often visual and/or communicative (though I am always happy to adjust and learn!), in which I employ a method that allows me to tackle problems with structure and strategy. I am always eager to bring this spirited, highly motivated approach to any environment, especially within the product, marketing, technology, advertising, fashion or consulting industries.

Beyond, I am an energetic go-getter with a passion for technology, fashion, art, content-creation, new hobbies, and dogs. I am obsessed with my dog!
